The Cashmere Bandana Scarves

“I’ve amassed a small but growing collection of cashmere bandanas this winter, most recently these two from Lisa Yang and Johnstons of Elgin; the argyle one currently lost in the mail, but I’m hoping that putting it out in the universe will prompt its return.” —Talia Abbas, shopping director

The Winter Sun Staples

“This December, I’ve been dreaming of the sun and packing accordingly for a holiday spent by the sea. All III’s silk gown—with its chic, effortless silhouette—was impossible to resist, complemented by elevated resort staples from Dragon Diffusion, St. Agni, and Cou Cou Intimates.” —Minty Mellon, commerce market editor

The Corduroy Set

“I had been craving some new corduroy pieces this season, and Heidi Merrick’s Francoise blazer and Chaplin pants called my name! I styled the blazer over a turtleneck, with a silk skirt and a pair of suede Prada boots for the Vogue holiday party. I love the double-breasted style and it fits like a dream! These oversized pants also fit perfectly, with a cinched waist and an oversized leg. Both pieces are now part of my workwear rotation!” —Alexandra Ditch, associate commerce producer

The Cherry-Red Knit

“This sweater is fresh out of the package and not even worn yet, but I already know I will love it. My dear colleague, Alison Ward Frank, showed up wearing this sweater, and I immediately decided I needed the exact same one. (I exercised restraint and got it in a different color so I wouldn’t be that person.) I am always saying I need more sweaters, which is objectively untrue, but here we are.” —Sache Taylor, director, special events

The Alexa-Chung Inspired Outfit

“My 2026 fashion resolution is to wear more heels, and I plan to solidify my resolution by wearing this new pair of beautiful, brown, suede Larroudé heels that I just got for New Year’s Eve! From January 1st on, I plan on pairing them with this stunning Madewell x Alexa Chung navy coat (I mean, Alexa Chung is a forever inspiration when it comes to both winter dressing and effortless kitten heel outfits) and these Mother jeans (which somehow do the impossible and make my 5’1 stature look tall!)” —Florence O’Connor, associate content manager

The Maternity Essentials

“This season is all about coziness, and winter usually calls for it—but this has been amplified by pregnancy. Now that I’m at the end, I’m looking to matching sets, like this fleece style from Skims, chic diaper bags, and oversized scarves.” —Cortne Bonilla, senior shopping writer

The Hobo Bag

“I was in dire need of a replacement for my work bag for winter, and this slouchy leather one is exactly what I was looking for. It’s not too big, but it still has plenty of room for my 14-inch laptop, Smythson notebook, and the small army of pouches I use to house various daily essentials ranging from lip liner to sachets of ginger tea. Plus, I really love the silver hardware detailing on each side; it’s like the tote is wearing earrings.” —Elly Leavitt, lifestyle editor, shopping

The Versatile Accessories

“As the year comes to an end and holiday parties fill my calendar, I picked up some versatile pieces to play around with. I’m excited to dress up a simple look with these Heaven Mayhem earrings—perhaps even pairing them with the Eugenie blouse from the Reformation x Camille Rowe collaboration, and the Mother Reifler jeans (which transition from day to night looks seamlessly). And finally, I’d been waiting for Thistles’ Jack frames to come back in stock for ages, so I had to scoop them up as soon as they did!” —Fred Sahai, associate commerce producer

The Playful Wardrobe Additions

“Maryam Nassir Zadeh’s iconic Norfolk Street store recently closed this month and at the brand’s close-out sale, I scored a pair of her fun opera wedges in a turquoise blue. She makes some of my favorite shoes—they never really require a break-in period, they’re that comfy. I can’t wait to pull them out the second I go somewhere warm in the near future. Also, I love tote bags and I have way too many, but my newest favorite is Old Jewish Men’s ‘schlep’ tote. It’s humorous and a good conversation starter on the subway!” —Irene Kim, production and editorial associate

The Trustworthy Tights

“I bought another pair of my no-fail Sheertex tights for my annual holiday visit to New York, and am, as always, pleasantly surprised by how impossible they are to destroy, even for me, a veteran tights-destroyer.” —Emma Specter, culture writer

The Fashion-Forward Holiday Gifts

“My December shopping was predominantly focused on gifts. This year, I gave the women in my life personalized shirting from With Nothing Underneath. All the men got these mid weight cashmere sweaters from J.Crew—the quality is excellent!” —Mai Morsch, editor

The Warm Winter Accessories

“My favorite purchase of December was out of necessity. Sheer desperation during the cold front earlier this month landed me smack-dab in the Uniqlo flagship store to purchase some HeatTech essentials. The socks and gloves manage to be both comfortable and shockingly warm—I’ll soon pick up more shades. After braving the tundra, I decided to hibernate for a bit, so a new lounge set was key. Not sure how what I was thinking by buying a new pair of shoes—I simply do not want to leave the house, but I guess I’ll have to make a dinner reservation to take my slingbacks for a spin.” —Kiana Murden, commerce editor, Vogue Beauty

The Babydoll Bloomers

“While neither seasonally appropriate nor totally logical, I impulse purchased grown woman bloomers from LA-based brand, Charlie Beads. I am so excited to be able to match my nieces (who are the best-dressed babies I know) and they are such a comfortable option to wear when lounging around the house.” —Margaux Anbouba, senior beauty & wellness editor

The Flattering Basics

“I don’t know why I have been so resistant to buying a pair of dark wash jeans, but I finally caved in with this pair of Levi’s that I tried on at Aritzia. They are the perfect wide-leg, and the low-rise cut is more flattering than I anticipated! Everyone is always in an eternal search to find the perfect T-shirt, and I feel like mine has finally come to an end with Plain Jane’s iteration. It has the ideal sleeve cap length, and the hem sits perfectly on even the lowest of my low-rise jeans. What more could a girl ask for?” —Carolina Gonzalez, associate manager, social media

The Reinvented Essentials

“I’m always looking for ways to spruce up my ear stack without adding new piercings. This ear cuff from Good Stone is the perfect piece for that. I love how the chain detail adds a bit of edge in a dainty way. I also finally got my hands on the Sport Jean from Still Here this month. When they launched over the summer, they sold out immediately—and now I see why.” —Taylor Lashley, manager, social media

The Wear-on-Repeat Finds

“If you’ve seen me recently, you’ve probably seen me wrapped up like a present in this red scarf. I have worn it enthusiastically almost every day since I got it, as I hoped I would. A few weeks ago I picked up Leset’s cropped pointelle pant in black—it’s quickly become my Sunday’s best for doing little more than walking to and from the Park Slope Food Coop. It only felt right to seize the brown once it restocked in my size. And what do you know… it looks good with red, too!” —Talia Abbas, shopping director

The Soirée-Ready Accessories

“With the holidays fast approaching, it’s officially time to start investing in some great party accessories. As a minimalist at heart, my foundation is almost always a black dress. But to keep things feeling modern, I love punctuating the simplicity with something playful yet precious. It’s these thoughtful, high-impact accents that elevate a pared-back silhouette into something soirée-ready.” —Minty Mellon, market editor

The Cozy Cashmere

“I’ve turned to a wardrobe of mostly cashmere this fall, in direct defiance of the excess static coming from my too-hot, too-dry apartment. This Lisa Yang sweater is a new and instant favorite (I’ve worn it twice in the last week) while White and Warren’s chocolate brown travel wrap is the perfect extra-large size. I’ve been wearing it as a scarf on my commute to the office and as a shawl at my desk. And how sweet are these silvery charm earrings from Kara Yoo?” —Elly Leavitt, lifestyle editor, shopping

The Warm Winter Must-Haves

“I’m so excited to bundle up in The Super Puff by Aritzia on chilly city days! The long version provides extra warmth for walking! And these Ultra Mini Regen boots by Ugg are so easy to slip on before going out in the cold. I got them in the leather texture and I’m so glad I did! …It looks like chocolate brown is my color of the season!” —Alexandra Ditch, associate commerce producer

The Elevated Outfit Accessories

“I have been obsessed with layering these Splits59 stirrup leggings under my new Citizen of Humanity jeans – throw on a sheer black sock with a loafer and it’s a chic way to stay warm while keeping your winter outfits interesting. I also grabbed a new wallet—perfect timing with all the holiday shopping I need to do. Plus, I’m obsessed with the festive red color!” —Kasey Busiel, marketing & production manager, commerce

“I’m a sucker for a good matching set, and this navy two-piece from Gapstudio immediately caught my eye. I find myself grabbing for it whenever I don’t know what to wear, whether that’s to the office or for a last-minute dinner out. I was also on the hunt for a new pair of eyeglasses this month, and these aviators from Warby Parker felt like a fresh take on a classic style.” —Taylor Lashley, manager, social media

The Comfortable Classics

“Why I would do any shopping before the Black Friday sales start is beyond me, but I guess what I picked up this month really was essential. I really like a barrel-leg jean and heard good things about these—baby’s first Everlane purchase lived up to expectations. They have a comfortable fit which I’ve been loving. Equally comfortable are these Tory Burch loafers, which I could (and have) walked a mile in.” —Kiana Murden, commerce editor, Vogue Beauty

The End-of-Year Wardrobe Refresh

“Shopping in November is always a bit strange: you’re buying warmer pieces as fall transitions into winter, festive holiday outfits, and, in my case, stocking up on cute pieces for a beach vacation. My purchases have been kind of all over the place this month. I picked up this Flore Flore top because the neckline caught my eye—I find it elevates my usual jeans and tee combo. Speaking of jeans, I’ve been living in this Gap low-rise bootcut pair since I got them, and love the darker wash for winter. And although I live in my Repetto Camille heels, I realized I didn’t own simple black ballet flats, so I got this pair from Jeffrey Campbell, which reminded me of The Row’s Stella slippers. Finally, I got a mini dress from Réalisation Par for my trip to the Caribbean in January, which I can’t wait to throw over a bathing suit during the day, or wear with kitten heels at night!” —Fred Sahai, associate commerce producer

The Uniqlo Basics

“I’m currently replacing items in my wardrobe with more natural fibers and making sure I have solid basics for every season. Since it’s sweater weather, I picked up a couple of 100% cotton pieces from Uniqlo that I know I’ll be able to wear for a few seasons.” —Gaetane Lewis, director, audience development

The Straight-Leg Pants

“I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect corduroy pant and found my match at Gerard Darel! They have a new store on Madison Avenue, and I was able to go get a second pair of these. On the topic of pants, this season’s Madewell collaboration with Alexa Chung is definitely one of the best, and the satin track pants have been one of my favorite new additions to my closet. They feel like pajamas, and are great for the days when I want to be a little bit more comfortable at the office!” —Irene Kim, production and editorial associate

The Bold Red Knit

“I am usually not a colorful girl, but this Linder Sport quarter-zip in red has been turning heads from Sant Ambroeus to the Vogue office—very comfy, and some would say, very chic. The sweater runs a bit small, so size up if you are in between!” —Sache Taylor, director, special events

The Marie Antoinette Heel

“I’m obsessed with the Manolo Blahnik x Marie Antoinette collection, especially after seeing them on Julia Garner at Vogue World Hollywood! I can’t wait to step out in mine!” —Chloe Malle, head of editorial content

“This month, I finally pulled the trigger on a pair of classic black loafers. Plus, I found this fabulous pair of second-hand grey Toteme trousers on The RealReal that I wore for a project earlier this year. They are the perfect length, have excellent pleats, sit low on my hips, and have a really nice weight to them. I’ve gotten so many compliments on them already and can’t stop wearing them. ” —Madeline Fass, associate fashion director

The Pointelle Pieces

“I recently tried on some of Leset’s pointelle pieces and didn’t want to take them off! The cotton is soft and lightweight, and the pants are perfectly cropped—I’m already planning to get them in brown next. With a long black coat, I’m making this my new weekend uniform.” —Talia Abbas, associate shopping director

The Elevated Loungewear

“In October, I looked for pieces that felt both cozy and elevated—the kind that make you feel dressed even when your plans involve nothing more than a couch, a cup of tea, and a Scandal rewatch. Leset’s V-neck sweater and Charlie Bead’s ’99 Baby tee have became my unofficial uniform for the weekend, together it’s a look that’s soft enough for lounging yet polished enough to look pulled together on a last-minute coffee run.” —Minty Mellon, market editor, Vogue Shopping

The Royal Blue Sneaker

“I haven’t bought myself a new pair of sneakers in a while, so I decided to get a pair of sleek Adidas Japans. They’re so streamlined and comfortable—no breaking in required. I’m already seriously considering sprinting for another pair.” —Hannah Jackson, fashion writer, Vogue.com

The Cashmere & Silk Finds

“I might be the last person in the world to own Intimissimi’s boat neck cashmere top, but the rumors are true: It’s soft, stretchy, and perfect for layering. I also love the brand’s black silk shorts, which I’m wearing with tights and knee-high boots on nights out as New York slowly descends into winter. Speaking of, J. Crew’s cashmere poncho is another great layering piece, and I’m making the most of these butter yellow satin flats before it’s officially too cold to wear them and one risks the loss of a toe to frostbite.” —Elly Leavitt, lifestyle editor, shopping

The Reliable Separates

“I first saw The Frankie Shop’s Cedar shorts in its Marais boutique during PFW, and couldn’t stop thinking about them, so once back in NYC I made my way to Soho store and bought them immediately. I love a Bermuda short in the fall because when worn with a boot, they make for an excellent pant substitute. With its tailored, yet relaxed fit, made from a lightweight woven fabric, these can be dressed up or down. The same day, I popped into the J.Crew store across the street and found the Étienne button-up that’s perfectly oversized.” —Kiana Murden, senior beauty commerce writer

The French-Girl Block Heels

“I’m in an era of my life where I’m all about prioritizing comfort, so the concept of me wearing a heel to the office is of a bygone era. Though, Margaux has changed that for me. The Ada pumps are perfectly comfortable, and chic for everyday wear—a moderate block heel, cushioned soles, and sharp square toes. Dare I say, they’re very French cool-girl.” —Concetta Ciarlo, beauty commerce writer

The Closet Reset

“I am a broken record in saying that I’ve been on a long journey to reset my wardrobe. It has been quite the process, but I feel like I made notable progress in October! This Leset maxi dress is made of the softest, most comfortable fabric, yet is so sleek and easy to elevate with some simple styling. I also picked up a pair of jeans from Buck Mason’s newest denim collection. They have just the right weight to them, they sit perfectly on my waist, and I love their relaxed, wide-leg fit. Last but certainly not least, I splurged on a pair of black suede Prada boots. I’m confident that they will become a closet staple! I’m planning to wear them around the city and to the office… infinite styling opportunities await!” —Alexandra Ditch, associate commerce producer

The Refined Essentials

“The change in seasons has me restocking on fall basics. Like everyone, I’ve been hearing so many great things about Gap right now, and managed to get my hands on their often sold-out low rise ’90s loose jeans (yay for petite sizing!), as well as one of their much raved-about 100% cotton pullovers. Another recent acquisition I’ve been loving is this V-neck by Perfectwhitetee that is… well, perfect. The neckline elevates my go-to jeans, T-shirt, and ballet flats combo with ease. And this B-Low The Belt piece has also added a welcome western touch to my fall looks.” —Fred Sahai, associate commerce producer

The Ruffled Shoulder Bag

“I was in the market for an ‘everything’ bag that could fit my laptop, hold my pilates workout set, and still be effortlessly cute—and I found my answer with Baggu x Molly Goddard’s collection. I’ve been happily surprised by how much the bag can hold while still being so comfortable and easy to take on my work commute!” —Carolina Gonzalez, associate manager, social media

The Autumnal Birthday Haul

“October is my birthday month which presents a dangerous combination of my itch to shop as the weather gets colder, while also being in a mindset of ‘treating myself.’ Two perfect fall pieces that entered my wardrobe are these stunning brown silk pants from Vince, and, after deciding it was finally time to get my own oversized sweater instead of always stealing my boyfriend’s, this beautiful button-up knit from the men’s section. My Spicy Dan necklace is one of the most complimented pieces of jewelry I own, so I was so excited when I saw that they came out with this double layered brown version—the perfect item to jazz up a sweater and jeans outfit. I also finally bought myself the little leopard-print pouch bag from Liffner that I had been eyeing for months (it was an added bonus that leopard-print seems to be everywear this season!)” —Florence O’Connor, associate content manager

The Versatile Tee

“I am a little biased because Liana Satenstein is one of my closest friends, but she really did her thing with this exclusive Neverworns collaboration with LA-based designer Cleo. I already have this shirt in black (which, by the way, has been worn by all of LA’s It girls, including Devon Lee Carlson). It’s beloved for a reason. It features a low-scoop neckline on one side, and a higher bateau neckline on the other side, so that you can really get the best of both worlds and take it from day to night. But the reason I love this shirt most, is because of its unique color—it’s a perfect pool blue. The first night I wore it out, the compliments came flooding in. Seriously, I’ve never been so complimented before in my life. I’m about to purchase a backup shirt in the same color, so that I can ensure that I have it for the rest of my life.” —Irene Kim, production and editorial associate
