My purchases have been kind of all over the place this month. I picked up this Flore Flore top because the neckline caught my eye—I find it elevates my usual jeans and tee combo. Speaking of jeans, I’ve been living in this Gap low-rise bootcut pair since I got them, and love the darker wash for winter. And although I live in my Repetto Camille heels, I realized I didn’t own simple black ballet flats, so I got this pair from Jeffrey Campbell, which reminded me of The Row’s Stella slippers. My Spicy Dan necklace is one of the most complimented pieces of jewelry I own, so I was so excited when I saw that they came out with this double layered brown version—the perfect item to jazz up a sweater and jeans outfit. “I am a little biased because Liana Satenstein is one of my closest friends, but she really did her thing with this exclusive Neverworns collaboration with LA-based designer Cleo. I already have this shirt in black (which, by the way, has been worn by all of LA’s It girls, including Devon Lee Carlson). It’s beloved for a reason. It features a low-scoop neckline on one side, and a higher bateau neckline on the other side, so that you can really get the best of both worlds and take it from day to night. But the reason I love this shirt most, is because of its unique color—it’s a perfect pool blue. The first night I wore it out, the compliments came flooding in. Seriously, I’ve never been so complimented before in my life.
