After spending the better part of a decade in Hawkins, Finn Wolfhard is ready to make more music and hit the road with his band.
The Stranger Things alum revealed that he has “nothing on the books officially for acting” following the Netflix show’s New Year’s Eve finale as he plans to focus on his band The Aubreys in 2026.
“I definitely want to pursue and keep on acting but only if it’s something that I’m really in love with,” he explained to Esquire.
“Other than that, I’m probably going to tour a little bit with my band next year and put out another album. I have some music that I’ve written over the last two years that I want to record,” added Wolfhard. “So I’m kind of keeping it open.”
Debuting with their single ‘Getting Better (otherwise)’ in his 2020 movie The Turning, The Aubreys released their first EP Soda & Pie that March, followed by the album Karaoke Alone the following year.
In June 2025, Wolfhard released his debut solo album Happy Birthday via AWAL.
Wolfhard noted to Esquire that he’s completed filming on his upcoming stunt comedy Crash Land from writer-director Dempsey Bryk, co-starring Gabriel LaBelle.
