“Getting to make Let It Come Down, a delicate, suspenseful story that I hope will resonate with many, with this sensational leading cast, has been an unforgettable experience,” Bjerke said in a statement.
“Working with Eliza Scanlen, Edvin Ryding, and Charlie Rowe, who brought such vulnerability, openness, generosity, and reverence to their characters, has been a privilege. Their depth and commitment elevated the film to new heights, and I’m incredibly grateful to have shared this journey with them.”
Speaight and Murphy added: “From the moment we read Anna’s script, we were struck by its emotional precision and the delicate balance it strikes between tenderness and danger. Anna is a filmmaker of extraordinary sensitivity and control, and watching her bring this world to life, alongside such a brave, generous cast, has been profoundly moving. We’re incredibly proud to have made this film in collaboration with Kami, Nastasja, and the whole team, and to see it begin its international journey with such strong partners behind it.”
