Neil Young Cancels 2026 Tour Dates

A year after assembling the Chrome Hearts backing band, Neil Young has pulled the plug on their upcoming tour plans.

The 3x Grammy winner announced that he’s “decided to take a break” and cancel their Love Earth 2026 Tour, which was set for Europe this summer, although he did not provide further details about the reason for the cancelation.

“I have decided to take a break and will not be touring Europe this time,” he started in a statement Friday on his website.

“Thanks to everyone who bought tickets. I’m sorry to let you down, but this is not the time,” added Young. “I do love playing LIVE and being with you and the Chrome Hearts. LOVE Neil, be well”

The Love Earth Tour 2026 was scheduled to kick off June 19 in Manchester, England.

Assembled by Young in late 2024, Chrome Hearts consists of guitarist Micah Nelson, organist Spooner Oldham, and the Promise of the Real rhythm section known as Anthony LoGerfo on drums and Corey McCormick on bass.

Young previously performed with the band Crazy Horse, canceling their 2024 tour midway after “a couple of us got sick” on the road.
