‘The Holiday Hitman’ Lands U.S. Distribution Deal Ahead Of EFM

EXCLUSIVE: Saban Films has acquired North American distribution rights to the action-comedy Christmas feature The Holiday Hitman.

The film was formerly titled Jingle All The Slay. It will be introduced to international buyers at the Berlin European Film Market (EFM), with Universal Exports Media handling sales.

The Holiday Hitman stars Nick Sagar (The Princess Switch Trilogy), Julio Cesar Cedillo (Sicario), Ricky Norwood (EastEnders), Adam Korson (This Is Us), Mark Fleischman (The Princess Switch Trilogy), Vas Blackwood (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels), Gabriela Ochoa Perez (CharlieBird), Florence Hall (The Princess Switch) Eloise Lovell Anderson (The Last Gunfight) Tim Cullingworth-Hudson (Prize Fighter) and Montana Manning (Hollyoaks).

The film is directed by Bradley Stryker (The Order) and produced by Charley McDougall (Breaking Cover), Jamie McLeod-Ross (The Reckoning), Nick Sagar, and Bradley Stryker. The screenplay is written by Charley McDougall and co-written by Bradley Stryker.

Executive Producers include Arthur Corber, Andy McLeod-Ross, Neil Aldridge, Janet Brooks, and Jordan Dykstra.

The film’s synopsis reads: Hitman Hank Carter is trying to save his marriage with the perfect family Christmas. Unfortunately for him, a hit has been put on his head — and a gang of festive bounty hunters will stop at nothing to collect the payday.

“We wanted to bring back that big, fun ’90s movie energy — the kind you watch every year with family and friends,” McDougall said in a statement. “Think the heart and chaos of Home Alone, the buddy-action pace of Rush Hour, all wrapped up in a Christmas present full of action, humour, and pure entertainment. This is the kind of film that reminds audiences why going to the movies is fun.”
