Trio Bravo Signs With TFC For Management (EXCLUSIVE)

EXCLUSIVE: Ben Jacobson, Mo Stark, and Stefan Marolachakis, the filmmakers collectively known as Trio Bravo, have signed with TFC Management for representation in all areas.

A trio of longtime best friends and collaborators, Jacobson, Stark, and Marolachakis are coming off their feature debut with Bunny, a dramedy with thriller elements that premiered at last year’s SXSW Film Festival.

Co-written by Jacobson, Stark, and Marolachakis, with Jacobson directing and co-starring opposite Stark in the titular role, the film picks up with a small-time New York schemer and his best friend in the aftermath of a routine hustle gone disastrously wrong, watching as they spend a sweltering summer day scrambling to conceal a growing pile of bodies, as nosy cops, unruly neighbors, an unexpected Airbnb guest, and unresolved family baggage get in the way.

In his review of Bunny out of SXSW, Deadline’s Pete Hammond called it “irrepressibly lively and likable.” The film earned a Grand Jury Award nomination for Narrative Feature before going on to screen during the Tribeca Festival’s closing weekend. It released theatrically with Vertical last November and will debut on Netflix on February 13.

Upcoming for Trio Bravo, on the feature side, is The Doormen, a darkly comedic two-hander described as Kiss Kiss Bang Bang meets Midnight Run. In television, they are developing an original series for FX with Hiro Murai and his Chum Films producing. The trio will write, Jacobson will direct, Stark and Jacobson will star, and Paul Simms will showrun the series. Additionally, Trio Bravo recently sold an original comedy series to Netflix, where they will reprise their respective roles.

Former WME and UTA partners, David Stone and Ben Jacobson, founded TFC Management and TFC Productions in 2020. On the management side, their clients range from on-camera talent like Dakota and Elle Fanning, Shira Haas, Daniel Ing, JD Pardo, and Josh Hutcherson to creators, filmmakers, novelists, and producers like Warren Littlefield, Brian Yorkey, Megan Park, Adam Reed, Akiva Goldsman, Courtney Lilly, Josh & Jonas Pate, and Rebecca Serle.
