Hilary Duff Didn’t Always Love the ‘With Love’ Dance Memes

In 2007, Hilary Duff debuted her new single, “With Love,” accompanied by some awkwardly-executed and elbow-forward choreography, which has unexpectedly haunted her career. “[I] didn’t want to be there, doing this dance that I probably didn’t want to be doing, and didn’t feel good at the time,” Duff said in her interview with Glamour. “I know people don’t look at it like that, and it’s this funny thing, but that’s how I used to look at it.”

Now, however, Duff is happy to play along. In 2021, Duff herself got in on the trend, and performed her own recreation of the dance for her followers. “So I can stop receiving text about this….” she captioned the vid.
