The full trailer for Apple TV’s Imperfect Women is here, pulling back the curtain a little further on the juicy drama starring Kerry Washington, Elisabeth Moss and Kate Mara.
The television series adaptation of Araminta Hall’s novel, created, showrun and exective produced by Annie Weisma , debuts with its first two episodes Wednesday, March 18, followed by one episode a week through April 29.
The trio of actresses play a group of friends who have known each other since college, but the unexpected death of Nancy, Kate Mara’s character quickly throws things off as Mary (Moss) and Eleanor (Washington) search for answers.
“Part of me thinks we will get through anything right,” Nancy says in the clip. “Then the louder part of me is like, might as well burn it to the ground.”
The ensemble cast also includes Joel Kinnaman, Corey Stoll, Leslie Odom Jr., Audrey Zahn, Jill Wagner, Rome Flynn, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Violette Linnz, Indiana Elle, Jackson Kelly, Keith Carradine, Ana Ortiz, Wilson Bethel and Sherri Saum.
“What the three of you had, I don’t even know what to call it, but it wasn’t friendship,” a voice says at the end of the clip as Moss and Washington sit in an interrogation room looking distraught.

A co-production between 20th Television and Apple Studios, Imperfect Women marks Weisman’s latest collaboration with Apple TV following dramedy Physical starring Rose Byrne, Rory Scovel, Dierdre Friel and more.
The limited series is executive produced by Moss and Lindsey McManus, who initially optioned the book, via their production company Love & Squalor Pictures. Washington also exective produces for her Simpson Street banner alongside Pilar Savone. Author Hall also serves as executive producer with writer Kay Oyegun. Leslie Linka Glatter (Homeland, Love & Death) serves as director and executive producer of episodes one, four and five.
Imperfect Women was one of the series teased at Apple TV’s press day earlier this month, where the full trailer was played in the room.
