What Meghan Markle’s “Royal Tour” Wardrobe Looks Like Now

Since she and Prince Harry departed London back in 2020, Meghan Markle has become far more synonymous with California casual-meets-Montecito minimalism than the sort of formal separates and coat dresses typically relied on by royal women when embarking on overseas engagements. This week, the Duchess of Sussex joined Harry on a two-day visit to Jordan at the invitation of the World Health Organisation, where she opted for an elevated take on this more relaxed approach.

Arriving for the two-day trip—which has seen the Sussexes visit the Za’atari Refugee Camp, as well as meeting injured children who have been evacuated from Gaza—the Duchess traded her skinny jeans and neutral cashmere for cream tailoring: a tweed set by Veronica Beard. The following day saw her wear khaki co-ords layered under a lightweight cotton shirt to play football with kids at the QuestScope Youth Centre, styled with a pair of trending boat shoes.
