Given how important red carpet dressing has become in the promotion of a film, you’d think the 2026 Actor Awards would honor achievement in style. Alas, best dressed isn’t an official category at the newly-christened “Actor Awards,” FKA the SAG Awards.
Hosted by Kristen Bell, the ceremony highlighted the best performances in film and television, and winning is extra meaningful because the winners are chosen from a jury of their peers: other actors. It’s also one of the last pre-Oscars red carpets, and basically the end of awards season if you’re on TV, so you better come dressed to impress.
This year was full of elegant looks, with Teyana Taylor being one of the only attendees to try anything remotely avant-garde. Amid a sea of great, beautiful gowns, it was also refreshing to see Amy Madigan in a pantsuit. Someone’s gotta take the mantel from Diane Keaton!
