DJ Peggy Gou Brought Seriously Cool Energy to Paris Fashion Week

As one of the world’s most in-demand DJs, South Korean star Peggy Gou stays booked and busy. If you’ve not seen her play a genre-hopping set from Seoul to Santiago, you’ll have heard her earmwormy vocal tracks on the radio…cue: “(It Goes Like) Nanana!” Across the globe, she keeps the world dancing. One of her favorite destinations to hit? “Paris is one of the cities that always excites me to come back, whether it’s for a fashion show or my own show,” says Gou, who landed in the City of Light this week to attend the fall 2026 Saint Laurent show. “I especially love coming back during this time, though there’s chaos… I love chaos.”

If you’re wondering what exactly a cool-girl DJ like Gou gets up to while visiting Paris, she’s shared a glimpse inside her must-haves whenever she’s here. “I tend to spend my 24 hours like everyone else’s 72 hours, as I have a very tight schedule,” says Gou. Topping the list, naturally, is squeezing in some French retail therapy, while also making time for indulging in some sweets and art. “Believe it or not, I don’t shop a lot, but Paris is the perfect city for it,” says Gou. (With such impeccable personal style, we find it hard to believe she’s not an avid shopper.) “A bakery tour is also a must. My favorite is pain suisse, and if I had more time, I’d love to visit the museums like Palais de Tokyo, which is my favorite.”

Mostly, though, Gou’s in town strictly for the fashions, and last night she hit the new Saint Laurent show, which designer Anthony Vaccarello debuted in front of the Eiffel Tower. “YSL was YSL-ing. I loved the suit looks—they’re so chic, but also sexy,” says Gou, who sat front row with other stars like Rosé and Kate Moss. “The lace and sheer dresses were also amazing, but above all, I loved the venue—the aesthetic, and the dramatic music in front of the iconic Eiffel Tower.” Naturally, as a DJ, she says she also took note of the show soundtrack, which was by French producer and electro house legend SebastiAn.

For her VIP outfit, Gou flexed a statement look. She wanted to capture a fashion vibe that nodded to effortless French style, while also staying true to her own cool, trendy aesthetic. She donned a khaki trench coat, and paired it with a silky lace-trimmed romper underneath. “I’m obsessed with the trench coat, but even more obsessed with the lingerie underneath,” says Gou. “You can’t go wrong when it’s paired with the super sheer black tights.” (Don’t forget her sharp pointy-pumps and itty-bitty sunglasses, too.)
