At Paris Fashion Week, Model-Off-Duty Style Shows Signs of Spring

Hope springs eternal! Though Punxsutawney Phil proclaimed six more weeks of winter back in February, we’re already starting to see signs of spring in Paris. While fashion week attendees often peacock in spite of the temperatures, model-off-duty style is always a good barometer for how we should dress, and—mercifully—it seems like the cold is finally letting up.

In between their runway-ready looks, models are ditching their heavy coats for lighter jackets—be it cardigans, bombers, or blazers. Still, it’s not exactly tank top weather yet. A favorite styling trick in Paris? Layering one’s button-ups over tees. Speaking of which, graphic T-shirts are getting a lot of love across the pond.

Below, check out some model-off-duty style from fall 2026 Paris Fashion Week to inspire your spring wardrobe.

Button-Up, Buttercup!

You can never go wrong with a button-up. Wear them layered over tees, under jackets, or just straight up.

A Passion for Graphic Design

From quippy slogan tees to in-your-face images, a well-placed graphic tee brings some visual intrigue to any outfit.

In the Flatlands

Rejoice! Snow boots can officially return to the back of the closet, because ballet flats are back in Paris. Some models opted for the French girl fave, cherry red patent leather Repettos, while others went for fashion-forward tabis.
