Netflix is withdrawing as an investor in As Ever, Meghan Markle‘s lifestyle brand.
The financial relationship between the companies came together as the streamer launched her series, With Love, Meghan. Viewership of the series declined sharply for Season 2 in the latter part of 2025 amid reports that it would not get a third season. Netflix has not commented on those reports, which indicated that one-off specials featuring the Duchess of Sussex could still appear on the service.
A Netflix statement provided to Deadline indicated that the streaming giant was never planning to be a long-term backer of the lifestyle company.
“Meghan’s passion for elevating everyday moments in beautiful yet simple ways inspired the creation of the As Ever brand, and we are glad to have played a role in bringing that vision to life,” the statement said. “As it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world.”
Netflix remaiuns in business with Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, downgrading the pair’s deal to a first-look arrangement in August. With Love, Meghan was produced by the duo’s Archewell Productions as well as Sony’s IPC.
“As Ever is grateful for Netflix’s partnership through launch and our first year,” a company spokesperson said in a statement to Deadline. “We have experienced meaningful and rapid growth and As Ever is now ready to stand on its own. We have an exciting year ahead and can’t wait to share more.”
