Oh yeah. Are you kidding me? Yes. It doesn’t matter what kind of edit you have, there’s some sort of criticism. Literally, Elissa and Amber spent the night last night because we had an event, and we woke up this morning and we’re like, why do we all have our own shit? Amber is sitting here and she’s rattling off all the things in her DMs. I was like, that’s crazy, because I have all these things in my DMs.
Have you spoken to Brittany since the reunion? I know you were both at that event together yesterday.
[Shakes her head.] I actually texted her and said, “Hey, listen, I wish that I could have said all these things at the reunion. I had heightened emotions. Here’s my POV on the situation,” and I never got a response back. So I take that as whatever, and if she doesn’t want to engage with it, I’m like, “Okay.”
I’ve been trying to hold myself accountable and, make sure that I reflect on moments where maybe emotions take over. And I definitely identify the reunion as a moment where my emotions took over, because I felt a bit attacked. Taking a week, taking a beat, and making sure I address that is great.
I think the other thing that people don’t know is we are all supposed to go on a Miami trip together. And they all squeezed me out of the Miami trip. No one ever uninvited me, so they just ghosted me, and I went to Miami, and nobody told me where the Airbnb was, what the plans were, they just started a separate group chat without me.
Who was that? So people don’t catch strays if they weren’t involved.
Jess had invited me to a Miami trip with all the girls, and I thought it was very sweet. I got included in this group chat with kind of the core cast. And then we were confirming flights. We confirmed the names. We were talking Airbnbs. February 13 comes around, I send a text message, like, “Hey guys, like, just got my flights. What’s everyone’s plans?” Nothing. And I’m like, Okay, I guess we’re just gonna squeeze me out of the trip.
I still kept my flight to Miami. I spent some time with Priyanka and Elissa, who were also supposed to be on the trip and didn’t get responded to, and we had a great time, but Jess, Emma, Keya, Rosalyn, Amber, and I don’t know who else was in that group, they all just continued on their trip and never acknowledged the fact that they uninvited us. And so I think that’s where this girl’s girl thing comes in. I’m like, you’re being mean but standing on business as being “girl’s girls.” I don’t love that narrative either.
So you were invited before the show aired and then didn’t hear from them after the first episodes dropped on February 11?
Correct. If something’s bothering you, tell me about it. I’m not catty. I don’t want drama. I don’t want gossip. Like, if you have an issue, come to me. Nobody came to me about the Austin trip, nobody came to me about these edits. And so it’s kind of wild. If you’re a girl’s girl then acknowledge it when I do something wrong and it bothers you.
