This year’s awards season started strong, with bright, bold colors saturating the red carpet at the Golden Globes. As things wrap up at the 2026 Oscars, however, we’re seeing stars take a different approach to red-carpet dressing. With spring just a few weeks away, mellow pastel shades have become the palette of choice for some of Hollywood’s finest. The fall 2026 collections certainly gave stylists a lot to draw from: at Chanel, Chloé, and Acne Studios we saw Easter-ready looks travel down the runway.
On Oscars night, it was actresses Chase Infiniti, Felicity Jones, and McKenna Grace who really leaned in, gracing the carpet in subtle shades of lilac, yellow, and pink.
While Infiniti, a star of the Oscar-nominated One Battle After Another, wore a lilac ruffled number from Louis Vuitton, Jones optted for classic, buttery Prada. Grace, on the other hand, channeled major ’90s Gwyneth Paltrow energy in a pastel pink princess dress paired with a drop diamond tennis necklace.
