‘Stacey & Joe’ Star Joe Swash Signs For Off Limits Group From YMU

EXCLUSIVE: Joe Swash, star of hit BBC reality series Stacey & Joe, has left YMU to sign for Off Limits Group.

The actor and presenter rose to fame playing Mickey Miller in BBC soap EastEnders before going on to win ITV’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2008.

Together with his wife Stacey Solomon, the couple has become a popular fixture on BBC One in Stacey & Joe, a series that documents their lives and careers.

Solomon was also represented by YMU, but she too left the agency earlier this year. It is not yet clear if Solomon will join her husband at Off Limits Group.

Off Limits Group, previously known as Off Limits Entertainment, was founded in 2017 by Chris Drake, Jim Erwood, and Rossella Castellana. Its clients include Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson and Celebrity Big Brother‘s Chris Hughes.

In October last year, the agency hired Rebekka Taylor, talent director in YMU’s global entertainment unit. Josie Mackie, YMU’s legal director, has also jumped ship to Off Limits Group, where she took up the role of head of legal and business affairs.

Swash said: “Off Limits have already built something really impressive. It’s a young, ambitious and growing team who are bringing fresh ideas and a new perspective, and that spoke to me.”

“Joe joining OLG is a very special moment for us,” added Taylor. Drake said: “Over the past year we’ve been expanding our entertainment division, bringing together talent management, brand partnerships and legal expertise to support our talent in a forward-thinking, all-inclusive and innovative way. Joe has built a remarkable connection with audiences over many years and we’re excited to work with him.”
