The 2026 Rockie Awards nominations have been revealed, with 45 countries represented.
The Banff World Media Festival has announced Allana Harkin (Full Frontal with Samantha Bee), will present the awards, which take place in Banff, Canada, on June 16 at 6pm MT (5am PT) in a combined ceremony with the Banff Gala Awards.
Malin Åkerman (The Hunting Wives), Jacob Elordi (The Narrow Road to the Deep North), James Nelson-Joyce (This City is Ours), Narges Rashidi (Prisoner 951) and Amanda Seyfried (Long Bright River) will vie for the Best Performance in a Drama award, which is a category introduced last year.
Another new award, Best Performance in a Comedy, will crown one of Suranne Jones (Film Club), Mawaan Rizwan (Juice), Nabhaan Rizwan (Film Club), Timothy Spall (Death Valley) and Aimee Lou Wood (Film Club).
In the Drama Series: English Language category, Canadian breakout gay hockey drama Heated Rivalry will fight it out with the likes of The Handmaid’s Tale and The Pitt, while the Competition Series & Game Shows award will be contested between the likes of the BBC’s version of Destination X, Shark Tank, Norwegian breakout format The Box and The Traitors Canada. Overall, the BBC is by far the most nominated with 26, followed by Nat Geo with 10, Hulu with eight, Disney Television Studios with six, HBO’s European arm and Gaumont with four, and Sphere Media and Trio Orange with two.
The U.S. has the most nominations by country, with 55, followed by the UK (39), Canada (28), Australia (seven) and Taiwan (five).
