Ready for Age of Attraction season 2? Slow your roll.
Netflix’s latest gambit to test the powers of love, Age of Attraction, is a dating show where singles meet without knowing one another’s ages, creating connections across generations. Hosted by Nick Viall and his wife Natalie Joy (18 years his junior), the 8-episode series isn’t exactly a phenomenon, but has stayed solidly in the top of Netflix’s most-watched TV show list since its debut.
So…will there be an Age of Attraction season 2? Here’s what we know.
Netflix hasn’t announced Age of Attraction season 2.
So far no official word from the powers that be at Netflix nor from Viall et al. Obviously, we’ll update you if that changes.
But they are casting it!
Now, casting is not the same thing as filming, editing, promoting, and uploading, so don’t take this as confirmation. But at least one casting director is encouraging singles to apply for a second season.
The casting website still advertises a “new” dating show, likely the copy they used for season one, but the submission form is active in case you’re interested.
Which AoA couples are still together?
Of the six couples that the left the Promise Room with an age-gap match, one—Jorge Sanchez and Vanelle Fenmoum—did not make it to the Commitment Ceremony.
Of the remaining five, Theresa DeMaria and John Merrill, Libby Vodicka and Andrew Wheeler, Derrick Fleming and Pfeifer Hill, and Vanessa Drozda and Logan Goodrid chose to stay together. The only couple that chose to split up at the Commitment Ceremony was Chris Dahlan and Leah Woolfolk.
Will there be a season 1 reunion?
Again, Netflix has not confirmed whether a reunion is happening, however, they haven’t denied it either. None of the couples have confirmed whether they’re still together post-finale, so we’d imagine they’re saving the surprise for…something.
