EXCLUSIVE: The Age Of Adaline co-writer Salvador Paskowitz is teaming with business partner Timothy “Timo” Nelligan to launch microdrama outfit Super Punchy Studios.
The company’s first vertical title, Step By Step, stars short-form drama talent including Nicole Mattox, Seth Edeen, Molly Anderson, and Haley Lohrli, and is set to premiere its first of 60 distinct episodes in May 2026. It’s currently in production.
Step By Step, which is a full feature script written by Kristin Monroe Paskowitz and Halo Gracey, is being produced and distributed through a Super Punchy app platform. Super Punchy Studios has the backing of short-form regulars Mattox and Edeen.
Paskowitz was co-writer on 2015 Blake Lively fantasy-romance The Age of Adaline, which Lionsgate released to $65M global.
“At Super Punchy, we’re not chasing the evolution of vertical storytelling, we are actively shaping it,” claimed Paskowitz.
“The future of this medium belongs to those who prioritize originality, ownership, and efficiency,” added Nelligan. “We have this and represent a new mindset in the industry that will resonate most with global audiences. We are not volume-driven, we are artist-driven.”
