With all due respect to the other celebrity couples out there, nobody is doing it quite like Rihanna and A$AP Rocky. Still, the duo was very kind to remind us of that last night in Miami. The pair popped down to Art Basel for Rocky’s Ray-Ban party, where they each donned fresh-off-the-runway looks.
Rihanna, for her part, chose a look from Saint Laurent’s resort 2026 collection: a vibrant colorblocked nylon windbreaker in marigold and tangerine, paired with a two-tone chocolate brown and rust pencil skirt. While she dressed up the sporty fit with some Saint Laurent accessories (oversized black sunglasses, a quilted butter yellow bag, and large earrings), she went her own way on the shoe front, opting for a pair of lace-up brown heels.
Rocky, for his part, leaned into his new Chanel ambassadorship with aplomb. He wasted no time in snagging the Superman-inspired blue knit sweater with interlocking C’s that Awar Odhiang wore on the decommissioned subway platform-turned-runway at the house’s New York City Métiers d’art show earlier this week. He added a sense of Clark Kent pedestrianism with his navy trousers, a knit striped tie, and lace-up shoes that featured a subtle Chanel logo on the toe. He finished off the look with a pair of outré Ray-Bans (of course, as the brand’s creative director), an X over one lens, and a dash across the other.
Leave it to Rihanna and A$AP Rocky to turn even a work party into a massive fashion flex. Let us all take a cue from them, as we head into office holiday party season.
