EXCLUSIVE: Innovative Artists Entertainment has signed actress, director, producer, and entrepreneur Kim Fields for representation in all areas.
Fields is known for starring in several long-running series, including Netflix’s The Upshaws, Fox’s Living Single and NBC’s Facts of Life. On The Upshaws, which returns for its fifth and final season on January 15, she stars opposite Wanda Sykes and Mike Epps.
In 2021, Fields co-created and starred in the romantic action adventure film, Adventures in Christmasing, for Paramount/MTV Entertainment Studios. Both that film and the Lifetime holiday hit You Light Up My Christmas, which starred Fields, were exec produced by Fields and her production company, K-Lab Studios.
In film, Fields’ credits include A Question of Faith and A Cross to Bear. Behind the camera, she has directed several episodes of The Upshaws, where she is also a consulting producer. Additional directing credits include Crutch for Paramount+, CBS’s hit series The Neighborhood, NBC’s Extended Family and The Ms. Pat Show. She also directed on BET+’s All the Queen’s Men and Haus of Vicious, serving respectively as a consulting producer and an EP on the first season of those series.
Fields also directed numerous episodes of That Girl Lay Lay and nearly 90 episodes of Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns and Tyler Perry’s House of Payne on TBS. She launched the premium coffee and tea company Signature Blends by KF in 2017 and published her autobiography Blessed Life in 2018.
