Alton Brown Launches YouTube Cooking Show, Signs With Adventure Media

Another well known personality from traditional TV is embracing the creator economy. Alton Brown, creator and host of the Peabody Award-winning Food Network series Good Eats, which ran for 16 seasons, has launched a new cooking show, Alton Brown Cooks Food, on YouTube. He also has signed with Adventure Media for management.

Alton Brown Cooks Food debuted on the Google digital platform Nov. 23 with a viral Thanksgiving-themed episode which amassed 1.5M views in the first 24 hours, a tally that has now surpassed 2M. A second episode was released last week. The plan is to expand the series to include additional episodic formats and live extensions.

This also marks an expansion for Adventure Media, the management company founded in 2022 by Chris von Goetz and James Robins Early, which started off with core literary representation before adding talent, sports, broadcasting and now digital creators.

Brown already has strong online presence through his short-form culinary content on Instagram and TikTok which routinely generates hundreds of thousands of views. He is coming off a 60-city variety show tour, Alton Brown Live: Last Bite.

Adventure Media will focus on growing Brown’s digital IP, brand partnerships, live touring expansion, and multi-platform content strategy.

In addition to Good Eats, Brown is known as the host of Iron Chef America and Cutthroat Kitchen. He has written 10 best-selling books including the 2025 Food for Thought: Essays and Ruminations. He is also repped by attorney Joel Behr of Behr Abramson Levy Johnson.
