Andy Cohen “Was Surprised” By Amanda Batula & West Wilson Relationship

Although Summer House cameras are not around to catch Amanda Batula and West Wilson‘s blossoming romance, Andy Cohen has plenty of questions.

The Watch What Happens Live host recently admitted he “was surprised” by the joint statement released by Batula and Wilson, noting that he has “a lot of questions” for the pair during the upcoming Season 10 reunion special.

“I will say that I saw a lot of conspiracy theories online yesterday that I somehow knew about this,” he told John Hill on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “I did not.”

Cohen added “I really feel” for Ciara [Miller], Batula’s close friend who previously dated Wilson. Meanwhile, Batula and Kyle Cooke announced their divorce in January, having been together since the show’s premiere in 2017, having tied the knot in 2021.

After reading Batula and Wilson’s statement, Cohen said, “I was surprised by what it said. And I was surprised by what it didn’t say. I have so many questions and the reunion is coming up and, boy, do I have a lot of questions.”

Following weeks of speculation, the couple confirmed their relationship in a joint statement. “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach,” they said.

“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” added Batula and Wilson. “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
