EXCLUSIVE: Strand Entertainment has signed Ashley Benson, an actress and producer whose work spans studio features, independent film, and television, for management.
Benson was most recently seen starring alongside Alfie Allen in Mike Ott’s McVeigh, an indie drama based on the true story of Oklahoma City Bombing perpetrator Timothy McVeigh, which premiered at the Tribeca Festival. She recently wrapped production on the independent feature Pretty Babies, which she also produced alongside Christine Vachon with Killer Films and Jordan Wagner.
Best known for her breakout role on Freeform’s Pretty Little Liars, which ran for seven seasons, Benson other credits include Harmony Korine’s Spring Breakers for A24, Alex Ross Perry’s Her Smell opposite Elisabeth Moss, and the Amazon series Wilderness, as well as Mob Land alongside John Travolta, The Birthday Cake with Ewan McGregor, and Pixels for Sony.
Benson reaches a social audience of more than 23 million followers and continues to be represented by Independent Artist Group and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller.
Founded by Jeff Golenberg and Jason Shapiro, Strand Entertainment announced that they’ve promoted Aileen Lewis to manager earlier this week.
