Chop Chop! Margot Robbie Now Has a Bob and Broken Bangs

What better place to enter a new hair era than front row at the Chanel fall/winter 2026 show? At least, that appears to be Margot Robbie’s move. Today, the actor attended Paris Fashion Week with a surprise new cut—not only did she join Team Bob, but she also got bangs to boot.

Robbie’s hair was a major topic of conversation throughout her Wuthering Heights press tour. The long, soft blonde was typically styled in loose waves, reminiscent of the styles Cathy wore throughout the film.

Now, Robbie has a “lob”—the in-between cut that hits somewhere between the chin and clavicle. And she’s in great haircut company. The specific lob-chop is a favorite of stars like Penelope Cruz (who revealed hers at the Chanel Couture show earlier this year!), Sienna Miller, and more. Robbie’s chop was done by hairstylist Cervando Maldonado. Her across-the-forehead bangs are piecey (thus, why they are called “broken”), a style that gives them endless versatility.

“The bob and fringe is a modern look for spring,” Maldonado tells Vogue exclusively of Robbie’s new cut. “It leads the way into summer with an effortless style. The length is versatile and easy to pull back and create different styles if needed.”

We last saw the star with a bob in 2024, where it was styled into a sleek, tucked-in bob. They say hair holds memories, so maybe it was now time to ditch the feelings—the yearning!—associated with Wuthering Heights.
