Cheetah print, tiger print, leopard print…except for the occasional zebra or rancher-coded cow, animal print is usually reminiscent of a big cat. Emma Roberts, though, is providing some much-needed dog-people representation, attending a Super Bowl party in San Francisco wearing a Dalmatian-spot skirt that’s a welcome changeup from the vaguely cougar aesthetic we usually see with animal print.
Opting for a desaturated look, Roberts wore an ankle-length straight skirt (that looks as if it’s made of satin, definitely not any kind of canine, lest you think her a modern-day Cruella de Vil) paired with a black mock-neck top, black pointed shoes, and tortoiseshell Ray-Bans. She carried a slouchy black leather bag (the Eloisa Clutch from Armarium) and left her blonde hair tucked into her collar to create the outline of a bob without getting a cut.
For a bit of sparkle, she added a black belt with a gold buckle and some Brilliant Earth jewelry: the Taylor Marquise Lab Diamond Huggie Earrings ($550), Jardiniere Diamond Ring ($2,090), and Marseille Half Coverage Lab Diamond Ring ($1,350). She also eventually pulled her hair out of her shirt.
