Gigi Hadid’s Bandana Scarf Proves That You’re Always Your Own Best Muse

Sometimes when getting dressed, you might reference a moodboard, and other times, that moodboard is you—and there’s no better example of this than Gigi Hadid. Today, the supermodel and entrepreneur stepped out in New York City wearing a “Wild Rag” scarf from her New York City-based brand, Guest in Residence. She paired the paisley-printed piece with mid-wash jeans, classic penny loafers, and an oversized suede trench—a signature uniform in her modern-prep style rotation.

Meanwhile, things are getting busy in the city—the fashion world is currently gearing up for New York Fashion Week. Yesterday evening, Marc Jacobs unofficially kicked off the week’s calendar with a star-studded runway show at the Park Avenue Armory; Ralph Lauren will continue with the off-schedule festivities with a runway show later today. Though Hadid is less of a runway regular these days than she is a businesswoman, she did recently jet out to Aspen to walk the ski-sloped runway for Moncler Grenoble.

Late last year, the model also returned to the New York City runway for the rebooted Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, alongside her sister Bella Hadid, Angel Reese, and more. As the shows heat up, fashion fans will be sure to keep an eye out for her official on-calendar return. In the meantime, keeping an eye on Hadid’s effortless off-duty street style will do.
