Roy Wood Jr. will be presiding over more political hot takes and laughs after Have I Got News For You was renewed for a fourth season.
CNN has renewed the series, which features Amber Ruffin and Michael Ian Black as team captains, and will premiere it on January 24.
The first season premiered in September 2024, the second in February 205 and the third in September.
The U.S. version of the long-running BBC series is one of CNN’s most-watched shows since its launch, per Nielsen, with an average of around 2M viewers per week.
The series comes from Hat Trick Productions, which also produces the original. It is exec produced by Jim Biederman, Jimmy Mulville and Richard Wilson.
Stars who have appeared on the panel show, which features comedic takes on the political news of the week, include Jasmine Crockett, Adam Kinzinger, Joy Reid, Kara Swisher, Alex Edelman, Bomani Jones, Lewis Black, Paula Poundstone, Mae Martin, Gianmarco Soresi and Jenny Hagel.
It forms part of CNN’s Saturday night lineup alongside a repeat of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher.
“Thank goodness we’ve got season four of our show to make sense of this perfectly normal time we’re in where everything is stark-raving normal. A time in which everything is fine and nothing is wrong. Amen,” said Wood Jr., Ruffin and Black.
