Celebrities love to surprise us with a fresh bob, and this week it’s the turn of French actress Isabelle Huppert. The star arrived for a photocall at the 2026 Berlinale on Monday with her usual shoulder-length waves, then walked the red carpet just hours later with a sleek and angular bob.
Huppert is in Berlin to promote her new film, The Blood Countess, a fantasy horror directed by Ulrike Ottinger. After appearing at the initial photocall on Monday afternoon with her tousled waves styled in a neat center part, blended gray hair at the crown, Huppert did a total 180, enlisting hairstylist John Nollet—whose clients include Pamela Anderson and Vanessa Paradis—to take several inches from the length ahead of the premiere that night. The actress complemented her sharp new bob with a black ball skirt and a shirt and tie.
