Kendall Jenner and Rihanna Have Called It: Tiger Print Is So Back

While leopard print has long been everywhere, and cow and deer print are experiencing somewhat of a revival, tiger stripes feel much more maligned. Cast your eye to the spring 2026 runways of Alaïa, Gucci, and Chopova Lowena, though, and you’ll see tiger print has been on the prowl.

Rihanna, too, has laid her claim to the pattern, having long been an animal print fanatic. Stepping out in New York, Rih wore a tiger print, wool-blend jacquard coat by Alaïa (an enduring favorite designer for Rih), and matching tiger print calf hair pumps also by the French house, with little else. She sported a fire truck red lip with her hair up in a loose up-do with face framing pieces, a Bryony Raymond gold necklace, and angular, oversized black sunglasses. Unliked the more pared back Jenner, Rih leaned into the ’80s maximalist vibe.

Seeing both Rihanna and Kendall Jenner’s very personalized takes on the tiger print trend, are we edging closer to animal print as a true neutral?
