Lady Gaga is still in stupid love with fiancé Michael Polansky.
It’s been nearly two years since the Silicon Valley bigwig proposed to the pop star after a rock climbing trip on April Fools Day 2024. “I thought he was joking,” she admitted to Graham Norton after confirming the news months later. He wasn’t, but the pair had to put wedding plans on the back-burner as Gaga prepared for the release of her sixth studio album, Mayhem, and its subsequent world tour.

Mach 6, 2026: Lady Gaga tells Bruno Mars the wedding is coming up “soon” during his “Romantic Radio” livestream. “Me and my fiancé have been traveling all year, but we’re getting married soon,” she tells Mars in a special message shared on iHeart Radio’s Instagram page. “We were hoping you could choose a special song for us.”
For his part, Mars recommended “Risk It All” off his new album, The Romantic.
2025
November 13: In a cover interview with Rolling Stone, Gaga says she and Polansky talke about their wedding “all the time,” adding it’s “tempting” to get married during any given break in their schedule.
“We don’t want a really big wedding, but we want to enjoy it,” Polansky adds in the same interview. “In a lot of ways, we already feel married, so it’s not like it’s gonna change much.”
March 8: Gaga shares more about that life-changing phone call with her mother during her Saturday Night Live opening monologue. “My mom called me one day, and she goes, ‘I met your husband,’” Gaga recalls. “And I said, ‘What does he do?’ And she said, ‘He works in cancer research.’”
Gaga says she was “literally smoking a cigarette” during that call, adding, “and then we went on three dates and I never smoked again.… Except when I’m drunk.”
