Nacelle Co Production President Was 61

Cisco Henson, the longtime president of production at Nacelle Company, has died. He was 61.

The 2x Emmy-nominated producer, who had more than 300 credits to his name, died on Monday, surrounded by family and loved ones. A cause of death was not immediately disclosed.

Henson’s wife Aizita Magaña said that her late husband “really cared about the work, but he cared even
more about helping others,” adding: “His legacy is the comedy he gave to the world, and his family,
friends and colleagues are forever enriched by his presence in their life.”

Among the countless stand-up specials he produced, Henson was behind the debut hour-long specials for stars like Dave Chappelle, Ali Wong, Tom Segura, Andrew Schultz, Tiffany Haddish, Zarna Garg, Jimmy O. Yang, Andrew Santino, Mike Birbiglia and more, in addition to several titles for Netflix, Disney+, HBO, Hulu, Amazon, Peacock, Showtime and Tubi, over the course of his more than 35-year career.

“I had the honor and pleasure of working with Cisco for 14 years. We had offices next to each other for over a decade. Few people have made me laugh more or harder, and it goes without saying that Nacelle would not be where it is without him. I miss him very much, and I know I can say that on behalf of the whole company as well as his many, many friends,” said Nacelle founder and CEO Brian Volk-Weiss in a statement on Wednesday. “He was a great man, colleague, friend, father and husband. We are all vastly better off for knowing him.”

Henson is survived by wife Aizita and their two children.
