The first teaser trailer for Netflix’s Pride & Prejudice series, based on Jane Austen’s classic novel, is here.

This latest adaptation of Austen’s beloved book will pile on more regency drama. Pride and Prejudice will join the yearn-aissance in the fall to bring Jane Austen’s iconic story back to life, whilst inspiring a new generation to fall in love with it for the first time.
Alongside Corrin (Nosferatu, Black Mirror) and Lowden (Slow Horses, Benediction), Olivia Colman (The Favourite, The Crown) will be Mrs Bennet, Rufus Sewell (The Diplomat, Scoop) will be Mr Bennet, Freya Mavor (Industry, La Dame Dans L’Auto) will be Jane Bennet, Jamie Demetriou (Stath Lets Flats, Barbie) will be Mr. Collins and Daryl McCormack (Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery; Good Luck to You, Leo Grande) will be Mr Bingley. Rhea Norwood (Heartstopper) will play Lydia Bennett, Hopey Parish and Hollie Avery will play Mary and Kitty Bennett, Siena Kelly will play Caroline Bingley and Fiona Shaw (Bad Sisters, Harry Potter) will play Lady Catherine de Bourgh.
When the full cast was revealed during production, writer and executive producer Dolly Alderton said: “‘Once in a generation, a group of people get to retell this wonderful story and I feel very lucky that I get to be a part of it. Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice is the blueprint for romantic comedy – it has been a joy to delve back into its pages to find both familiar and fresh ways of bringing this beloved book to life. With Euros Lyn directing our stellar cast, I am so excited to reintroduce these hilarious and complicated characters to those who count Pride and Prejudice as their favourite book, and those who are yet to meet their Lizzie and Mr Darcy.”
Other executive producers include Laura Lankester, Will Johnston and Louise Mutter for Lookout Point, as well as Alderton and Lyn. Star Emma Corrin will also join as Executive Producer, marking their debut in the role.
