Raquelle David Launches Management & Production Company, New Story

EXCLUSIVE: Raquelle David is opening the doors to New Story, a new management and production company focused on building bold, filmmaker-driven film and television with a global perspective.

An Australian native with an international career spanning nearly two decades, David began her career in independent film and television across Australia and Canada before transitioning into literary management, where she built a reputation for identifying and championing distinctive voices across both television and features. David will continue to be based in Los Angeles.

Her clients include  Grayson Moore (Cardinals) Perry Blackshear (They Look Like People), Aislinn Clarke (Fréwaka), Kathy Charles (Jakob’s Wife), Brandon Espy ( Hulu’s Mr. Crocket), Adam J. Graves (Netflix’s Anuja), Amos Mac (HBO’s Gossip Girl), Johnny Ma (Cannes Film Festival To Live to Sing), Dani Parker (Netflix’s Midnight Mass), Ham Tran ( Netflix’s The Devil’s Diner), Jovanka Vuckovic (XX), Aisling Chin-Yee (director Paramount+ documentary The Pink Pill), and Jenny Yang (Netflix’s The Brothers Sun), among others.

With New Story, David will continue to represent her existing roster while expanding her producing slate, developing projects across film and television with several currently in active packaging.

“I’ve been building toward this for a long time,” David said. “After nearly two decades working across development, production and management, it felt like the right moment to create a company that reflects the kind of storytellers I want to support. I’m passionate about championing distinctive voices — particularly women and underrepresented creatives — as well as international filmmakers whose stories resonate on a global scale. It feels more important than ever to support work that is bold, emotionally grounded and reflective of the world we live in.”
