The 2026 SAG Awards are officially underway—and they’ve rebranded! So, please welcome to the stage the 2026 Actor Awards.
Hosted by Kristen Bell, the ceremony will take place at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall. On the film front, One Battle After Another leads the night with seven nominations, while The Studio leads television with five.
Now that we’ve gotten the housekeeping out of the way, let’s turn our attention to the red carpet, shall we?
For the first time, the event comes with a dress code: “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour from the ’20s and ’30s.” We have high hopes that the very fashionable set of nominees will live up to the early Hollywood brief. Chase Infiniti, Teyana Taylor, Emma Stone, and Ariana Grande are among the leading and supporting nominees. The men will surely deliver, too: stylish actors including Chalamet, Michael B. Jordan, Jacob Elordi, and Paul Mescal are all up for an award.
While the Actor Awards are not a marquee ceremony, they certainly deliver on the fashion. Last year, Timothée Chalamet delivered his now-famous speech about ambition while wearing an acid green button-down and a bolo tie. Red statement dresses ruled the carpet: Danielle Deadwyler wore a geometric Louis Vuitton dress and Anna Sawai opted for a structured, bejeweled Armani Privé. And, of course, no red carpet nowadays is complete without a vintage fashion flex. Givenchy opened the archives for Cynthia Erivo, who wore a silver woven raffia dress from fall 1997 couture.
