Following their time at the market, they headed on over to the famous Bermondsey Beer Mile, visiting Southwark Brewing Company and female-owned Fabal Beerhall. Both were game to pull pints and try out the beers on tap. They finished the day with a trip on the RNLI lifeboat on the River Thames to learn about their life-saving work.
It was a classic Kate Middleton look today for manning the stalls: she opted for a well-loved, gray check Catherine Walker blazer, a blue boyfriend-style poplin shirt from With Nothing Underneath, her favorite Cartier Trinity earrings, and the aforementioned Jimmy Choo Cece 60 suede ankle boots in a coffee brown.
It’s already been a busy first quarter of the year for Kate, with royal engagements all across the UK—she’s made sure to dress the part, too. She recently paid a visit to Leicester, England to meet the local Indian community for the Hindu festival of Holi; and for the occasion, she chose an all-white ensemble, comprising a custom coat by Chris Kerr and a matching pleated midi-dress underneath, which was accented by the gift of a floral garland and a yellow silk scarf.
For the 2026 Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey last week, the princess wore a royal-blue coat dress by her all-time favorite, Catherine Walker, and the late Queen Elizabeth II’s Bahrain Pearl drop earrings, crafted from a cache of seven rare pearls that the then Princess Elizabeth was given by the Hakim of Bahrain as a gift on her wedding day in 1947.
