After pulling out his Sebastian Maniscalco impression for the second time on Saturday Night Live, Marcello Hernandez has earned more praise from the fellow comedian.
Following this weekend’s episode of the NBC sketch comedy series, Maniscalco suggested he “come in and do it myself,” raving that Hernandez and host Harry Styles “absolutely nailed it” in their sketch.
“I’ve been on SNL twice now, which sounds impressive until I tell you neither time was as the host,” joked Maniscalco on X. “At this point, Harry and Marcello have logged more rehearsal time as me than I have. Both of them were hilarious and absolutely nailed it. Maybe the third time I come in and do it myself.”
Hernandez’s latest sketch comes after he debuted his Maniscalco impersonation during a November episode hosted by Glen Powell.
Maniscalco, who is among the top-grossing in the world, noted SNL asked him to make a cameo at the end of the sketch, but he couldn’t make it work with his schedule. Still, he praised Hernandez for doing “a fantastic job.”
