Awards season continues apace, with the 2026 BAFTAs being the latest stop on the trail for Hollywood’s finest. Leading the charge? The cast of Sinners, which had 13 nominations, including Michael B Jordan for Leading Actor and Best Supporting Actress contender Wunmi Mosaku, who wore London-based designer Ahluwalia for the ceremony.
Elsewhere, One Battle After Another, which had 14 nominations, including Chase Infiniti in the Leading Actress category and Teyana Taylor for Best Supporting Actress. The latter star, who has been the standout fashion success story, worked with Burberry’s Daniel Lee on a custom plum silk duchesse floor-length corseted trench dress, which he said represented her femininity and strength. “My favorite element is the collar, which was shaped to resemble a rose through layering of the silk duchesse,” Lee told British Vogue exclusively before the BAFTAs. “The sculptural softness contrasts well against the trench silhouette.”
Naturally, this year’s Leading Actress nominees brought their fashion A-game to the red carpet, including former British Vogue cover star Jessie Buckley—who’s undergone a noticeable style shift on the campaign trail under the expert guidance of stylist Danielle Goldberg—clad in Chanel; Rose Byrne dressed in Miu Miu; and Infiniti, Renate Reinsve and Emma Stone all wearing Louis Vuitton.
