The Best Dressed Stars of the Week Nailed Casual Elegance

Fashion Month is concluding with the fall 2026 shows in Paris this week, and while the runways are all about delivering a high-fashion fantasy, A-listers on the front row are taking a slightly more low-key approach to dressing. This week, the best dressed stars nailed the art of casual elegance—choosing dressed-down looks, yet still with a bold POV. Think: a fancy coat paired with jeans, or a sleek suit trouser paired with a nonchalant bra top.

Take Olivia Rodrigo at the Chloé show, for example: the singer showed up in one of the label’s sweet, lace-trimmed slip dresses. She made the lingerie-inspired look feel perfectly show-ready by adding a pair of cream peep-toe pumps and a python Paddington bag. At the LVMH Prize cocktail in the City of Light, Anya Taylor-Joy also chose Dior, and she made the metallic-brocade peplum jacket feel just a little more wearable by pairing it with classic light-wash jeans—totally in tune with what Jonathan Anderson was sending down the Dior runway, too.

At Loewe, Love Story star Sarah Pidgeon slipped into textured white jeans and a draped leather blouse that was very reminiscent of something her on-screen character, Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy, would wear in present day. Equally as chic and discrete? Kate Moss in her Saint Laurent skirt suit, and Nicole Kidman in her own black Chanel set—Kidman’s coming with a sheer panel for a sexier slant.
