Here comes the bride. . . and the movie star!
Tonight in Paris, Zendaya continued her bridal-themed press tour for The Drama, her new Kristoffer Borgli film co-starring Robert Pattinson that releases April 3. The star hit the step and repeat in a white Louis Vuitton backless column gown, punctuated with an oversized back bow that cascaded down into a sweeping train. She accessorized it with diamond David Morris jewels. The whole statuesque look was giving wedding cake topper—in the chicest way possible, of course.
This whole month, the star has been wearing a lot of white (including rewearing the Vivienne Westwood gown she wore to the 2015 Oscars!) on the red carpets, as a clever way to nod back to the film’s wedding theme. Plus, given the recent reports that she and Tom Holland recently tied the knot, the fashion direction has been entirely fitting for an (alleged) new bride.

While Zendaya could have easily called in virtually any full-trained princess wedding dress for her press tour, she and stylist Law Roach have been keeping thing more sleek and streamlined. Her Vuitton gown tonight, for one, leaned into a clean and minimal shape—the perfect companion to Pattinson’s classic black tuxedo and tie, designed by Dior.
The drama—pun intended—really was all about the back of the Vuitton look. Complete with a high back slit, open back, and gigantic bow, it’s a striking design that IRL-brides could wear to turn heads while walking down the aisle. Forget making an entrance. . . sometimes the best gowns make an exit.
